Reminder

Executive Seminar

September 23-25, 2003

This is a reminder that the Executive Seminar is next week.  The Seminar will begin 1:30 p.m. sharp at Campbell’s in Chelan on Tuesday September 23rd.  We have a very strong agenda with high level speakers.

The summit will be focused on addressing a number of current issues that will impact the State’s information technology environment with special attention devoted to the Personnel Systems Reform Act.   We will be problem solving and will come away with some action items with which the information technology community can work.

The following is a list of items to answer questions you may have:

  • We have you registered and look forward to your attendance. You will need to check in to the hotel as well as at the IPMA registration desk which will be located outside the conference room.
  • Rooming and meals and the summit program are being provided and are included in your registration fee.
  • Rooms will be provided for Tuesday and Wednesday night.  Meals will be provided for Tuesday dinner, Wednesday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Thursday breakfast.
  • Longer stays and additional meals are not provided and separate arrangements must be made with the resort for those who wish to take advantage of staying longer.  We have arranged with Campbell’s to provide additional nights at the Summit-negotiated room rate.  You must deal with Campbell’s if you are interested in this option.  They may have trouble accommodating people on the nights following the Seminar.
  • We have no spousal or significant-other program.  However, if you would like to bring a spouse or significant-other to dinner, you can do so by contacting us at least 72 hours in advance and purchase a dinner for them.
  • The bus leaves at 7:00 a.m. sharp on Tuesday morning from the Hawk’s Prairie Park and Ride.  A sack lunch will be provided to bus riders. We still have a few seats available, so if you are interested you need to contact Phil Grigg at 902-7452.
  • People who do not take the bus are on their own for travel.  Just be sure to allow time to be seated in the conference room by 1:30 pm.
  • Dress for the entire event is casual.  Nights may be chilly at that time of year, so be sure to bring a sweater or jacket for outside activities.
  • Please verify the information we have about you on the attendee list on the web.  Be sure to check that we have you correctly marked for bus travel.
  • If you have any questions related to the Seminar, please call Phil Grigg at (360)902-7452 or Darrel Riffe at (360)902-3472.
