IPMA Home Benefits of Being a Corporate Sponsor

The Information Processing Management Association (IPMA) wishes to thank you and your company for showing an interest in becoming a corporate sponsor. As a corporate sponsor, your company will have the option of participating in several IPMA events during the upcoming year. Corporate sponsorship begins July 1, 2003 and ends June 30, 2004.

Professional Development Events - Throughout Year

The purpose of the Professional Development Committee is to provide educational and networking programs and seminars for the IT community. The Committee works with corporate sponsors and state agencies to provide these programs at zero to minimal cost to attendees. The Committee also provides selected formal training events to be provided on a fee basis. Facilities costs for events that include sponsor provided speakers are included in the corporate sponsorship fee.

Executive Seminar 2003 - September 2003

The Executive Seminar’s goal is to facilitate communications, networking and the exchange of information technology ideas among senior state government information systems managers and corporate sponsors. Approximately 50 IT managers will attend.  Hotel and meeting expenses, for one company representative, are included in the corporate sponsorship fee.

Executive Lunch -  May 18, 2004

The Executive Lunch is an opportunity to have lunch with senior information technology managers and their senior agency management. Approximately 100-125 agency IT and program managers usually attend. A high profile speaker will give the luncheon presentation. The lunch is hosted by the IPMA.

Forum 2004 -  May 25-26, 2004

Forum is an annual information technology seminar and trade show sponsored by the IPMA. For twenty-five years, Forum has proven to be an effective opportunity for vendors to demonstrate their products, for speakers to share their expertise and knowledge, and for state employees and others to attend free seminars and product demonstrations. It is important to note that Forum is one of the premier technology shows in the Pacific Northwest and the largest to focus solely on the public sector. Approximately 950 state, county, city and private sector employees will attend. Forum corporate sponsors have the option of being allocated high visibility display booths. Corporate sponsors will be given the opportunity to provide session speakers for Forum. Booth fees are included in the corporate sponsorship fee.

The annual corporate sponsorship fee is $3,500. The corporate sponsorship fee must be paid by June 1, 2003 for participation at the Executive Seminar in September.  Please contact Jim Andersen at JA_Andersen@MSN.Com to sign up as a sponsor.
