This seminar is designed for Information Technology Managers, Project Managers, and Business Managers from Human Resources, Finance, and the work units that will be impacted by the changes coming over the next year.
Long before change actually happens, managers have to deal with resistance in themselves, in their direct reports, in other parts of the system, and even in the general public. How does a manager cope with this resistance? How can s/he go beyond coping to leading through the change process? How does a manager work with his or her own responses to change?
In this intense, interactive seminar you’ll use an elegant, deep tool that reveals actionable opportunities for building morale, improving performance, and forming more cohesive teams in the midst of change. As a result, participants will have a new frame of reference for hearing complaints and concerns related to change and transforming them into shared commitments for moving forward.

Molly Gordon is an internationally recognized Master Certified Coach, writer, and workshop leader. She is the creator of Authentic Promotion®, a marketing approach that connects building a prosperous business with personal transformation and service to the planet. Her clients range from micro enterprises to NASA’s Langley Research Center. What they have in common is their commitment to infusing life and work with innovation, ongoing learning, authenticity, and purpose.
Molly's coaching practice is informed by over two decades as a business owner and artist as well as her lifetime passion for learning. A graduate of the Academy of Coach Training and the Newfield Network's Graduate Coach Training Program, she spends up to eight weeks a year in advanced study across a range of disciplines and in various theoretical models. In recent years she has studied Process Work with Arnold and Amy Mindell on the Oregon coast, earned certification in Spiral Dynamics with Don Edward Beck, and trained in Embodied Intelligence. In each of these instances, Molly searches for theoretical frameworks, developmental practices, and structural insights that support meaningful change and effective action.
A member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) since 1996, Molly served on the leadership team of the Puget Sound Chapter of ICF from January 1999 until May 2003. As the first President of the chapter, she was responsible for overseeing formal chartering. Molly has been a breakout session leader at the 1998, 1999, and 2000 ICF Conferences and is a regular leader of marketing teleclasses for ICF. She makes regular appearances at virtual and live conferences worldwide.
Molly was a pioneer in using the Internet to develop her business, creating her first Web site in 1996 and relying almost exclusively on her Web site and e-zine to keep her practice full. MollyGordon.com has evolved into a powerful resource for motivating and supporting effective change in life and work and includes hundreds of articles, brief book reviews, e-books, and links. Molly is an experienced host of online forums and workshops and has been a featured contributor at such sites as Infirmation.com, Prosperity.com, and WomenConnect.com.
Molly’s email newsletter, Authentic Promotion®, reaches over 10,000 readers each week. The e-zine promotes personal and professional growth and encourages graceful, audacious, and authentic responses to the challenges of managing and marketing a business. Her articles about personal and professional development and marketing are reprinted widely both on and offline.
Prior to becoming a coach, Molly owned Mollycoddles, a nationally known wearable art studio. In her spare time she continues to work with fiber. Other hobbies include gardening, singing, skiing, and bicycling, all of which remind her that mastery is a journey, not a destination. Molly has been married to architect Miles Yanick for 26 years. She has two stepsons, a daughter-in-law, and two astonishing grandchildren.
