Intended Audience

This seminar is designed for Disaster Recovery professionals, IT Managers, and Business Resumption planners who want to learn more about the creation and maintenance of a sound business continuity and disaster recovery plan.

Abstract of Seminar Contents

A sound business continuity and disaster recovery plan is critical. But where does one begin?  Prior to creating a plan itself, it is essential to identify primary business functions, consider the potential impacts of a disaster, and to understand the risks.  Certified Disaster Recovery professionals and government peers with real-world experiences and expertise have collaborated to unfold best practices and industry standards. They will provide current trend information, ingredients for a good plan, and ideas to consider from a small or large agency perspective.

Whether you are new to business continuity and disaster recovery planning, or you already have a proven and established plan, this seminar is for you. It is designed to provide definitions and terminology, current trends, future possibilities, and interesting examples from lessons learned.
