Marcus started his state service with the Department of Licensing in 2006. In March 2011, he was permanently appointed as the Chief Information Officer, after serving as the Acting CIO for six months. He’s proud to be in Information Services, with the Agency’s increased focus on technology initiatives.

He has over 20 years of progressive leadership experience emphasizing in information technology, systems engineering, business operations, and program management. Marcus has a Master of Business Administration in Systems & Information Technology, Master of Science in Operations Research & Statistics, Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
