Christy has been in the role of CIO  since 1999, she spent six years as CIO with the Department of Social and Health Services and since 2005 with the Department of Labor and Industries.  Prior to her joining Washington State Government in 1994, she held a number of positions in large application development projects across the United States.

Christy has been an active IPMA board member since 2002 holding the offices of IPMA Board Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary Treasurer and participates on several committees
